Meta Ads Account Health Score

Account Health Score — one number that tells you where your Meta account stands.

The Account Health Score is a composite 0–100 score for your Meta Ads account, calculated automatically every week and surfaced at the top of the dashboard. No spreadsheet to build. No weighted-scorecard template to set up. You open the dashboard and see where you stand.

How the 100 points are allocated

ROAS trend

30 points

Directional health of your account economics. Are you getting more efficient over the last 4 weeks, or less? Weighted by spend so it reflects the accounts that matter.

Frequency health

25 points

Audience saturation signal. Cold, warm, and retargeting are scored separately because fatigue thresholds differ. 3.5+ on cold is penalized; 5+ on retargeting is often expected.

Spend efficiency

25 points

Percentage of budget going to ads above account-level CPA target. High score = tight distribution. Low score = long tail of underperformers eating budget.

Creative velocity

20 points

Are you shipping new concepts fast enough to stay ahead of fatigue? The metric accounts for your own test cadence relative to account-level fatigue speed.

Score ranges

90–100

Healthy

Account is in strong shape. Maintain cadence, monitor drift.

70–89

Watch

Subtle decay in at least one dimension. Specific fix is in the action list.

50–69

Action required

Something is actively breaking. Act-today recommendations will appear.

0–49

Critical

Multiple dimensions are failing. The dashboard will surface the top 3 urgent fixes.

Why a composite, not a single metric

ROAS alone lies — it can stay flat while the underlying account rots (frequency climbs, creative fatigues, spend drifts to underperformers). A composite score catches the compounding decay that single metrics miss. If any of the input metrics aren't obvious, the Meta Ads glossary has plain-language definitions for ROAS, CPA, frequency, CTR, CVR, CBO, and more.

The score is calibrated against your own 4-week rolling baseline, not a generic industry benchmark. Your "healthy" is defined by your account's track record — and the score moves the moment that track record shifts. One thing to flag for 2026: if the score swings hard in Q1, the most common cause isn't a real account regression — it's Meta's January and March 2026 attribution changes reshaping the underlying conversion counts.
